Amplr ® - Peplink Partner Highlight

Amplr ® was founded with a clear vision: to make connectivity understandable, insightful, and affordable. This young and dynamic company focuses primarily on the hospitality, retail, and co-housing sectors, where they provide seamless connectivity from A to Z.

Joachim Van Hove and Maarten Van Hoecke started Amplr ® in 2021. The inspiration for Amplr ® arose when Maarten, as an operational manager for a hospitality group, noticed that poor connectivity led to revenue loss. Joachim, who installed LAN networks as a side job, realized together with Maarten that the need for reliable connectivity in the hospitality sector was not a temporary issue. This led to the birth of amplr ®.

‘’Our mission is to make connectivity understandable, insightful, and affordable,’’ says Van Hove. ‘’We saw a huge need in the hospitality sector and decided to address it with a platform that helps customers easily monitor their network status.’’

Amplr ® has developed its own platform to make connectivity insightful for end users. This platform allows customers to easily monitor the status of their network. Currently, Amplr ® offers its services in Belgium, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Portugal, and Spain.

The collaboration between Amplr ® and Frontier EU began organically. Amplr ® came into contact with Frontier EU through a mutual connection who had already completed successful assignments with Peplink. In search of a brand that could be seamlessly integrated with their platform and offered a reliable fail-over solution, they found Peplink and Frontier.

One of Amplr’s ® impressive projects is the installation of the B One 5G at more than 80 Panos locations in Belgium. Panos, a franchise concept with more than 80 stores, serves sandwiches, coffee, and sweet treats to their customers daily. For them, it is crucial to always be online for several reasons:

1. Digital Sales Goals: Panos aims to achieve 25% of their sales digitally within five years. This requires continuous online presence to receive and process orders in a timely manner.
2. POS System and Payment Terminals: Panos’ POS system is connected to the internal network and payment terminals, as well as their customer loyalty program. A stable connection is essential to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
3. Wi-Fi for Guests: As an additional service, Panos offers free Wi-Fi to their customers. Customers can easily connect via an online portal with registration, enhancing the in-store experience.

Thanks to Amplr’s ® network, all these devices are seamlessly connected. The amplr ® dashboard allows Panos to quickly intervene in case of any issues. For example, if a report comes in that a printer of payment terminal is not working, this can be monitored remotely and the correct corrective actions can be taken to resolve the problem.
